Brand & logo
wathila is a product by wathl and uses wathl's visual language: ink, red and paper, slanted geometric shapes, and glass over blurred logo shapes.
Name: وثِيلة in Arabic, wathila in English. The kasra in «وثِيلة» is red, like the kasra in «واثِل», tying the product to its parent brand.
The logo
Logo placement by language
On Arabic pages the logo sits at the top right and reads Arabic first; on English pages it sits at the top left and reads English first. The live orb button follows the same rule: bottom right in Arabic, bottom left in English.
The symbol
The agent's face: two eyes slanted like wathl's strokes, at different heights for an attentive look, and a red wathl triangle for a mouth, the moment of reply. The face sits on a soft slanted glass lens with no sharp corners, on an Earth that turns slowly west to east with a 23.44° axial tilt. It blinks, looks around, follows the pointer, and orbits the globe before returning.

The site uses wathl's own type (Segoe UI, then Tahoma). The logo wordmarks are fixed outlines drawn from IBM Plex Sans Arabic Bold (open OFL license), so they look the same on every device.
